A video protesting Israel posted to YouTube that featured a song by Alicia Keys was removed from the video-sharing website earlier this week after the singer took legal action, citing copyright infringement, WAFA reported.

According to a YouTube notification cited by WAFA, the video, which featured Palestinian Arab women protesting against the Jewish presence in the West Bank, and echoed calls for Keys to cancel her July 4 concert in Tel Aviv, was removed due to a claim by “Alicia Keys c/o Ziffren Brittenheim LLP.”

Keys has repeatedly rejected calls to cancel her show in Tel Aviv on July 4th, saying, “I look forward to my first visit to Israel. Music is a universal language that is meant to unify audiences in peace and love, and that is the spirit of our show.”
