Another Carjack Attempt, IDF Prowling for Perps

A Samaria (Shomron) woman escaped a carjacking attempt Thursday near Emanuel. The IDF says it views the incident with gravity. According to the military, it sees carjackings as no different, in essence, from terror attacks.

The IDF said that it has assigned a large force to hunting down the carjacking gang that has been operating in the region.

The driver, a resident of Kedumim, reported to the police that Arabs blocked her car’s way and tried to carry out a robbery. She succeeded in escaping unharmed.

The police began combing the region in search of the perpetrators. Similar carjacking attempts have become a recurrent phenomenon in Judea and Samaria in recent months.
