Hundreds are expected at a free forum on Sunday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m., at Temple Hillel in North Woodmere to engage in conversation regarding the recent terrorist events, growing BDS support, and anti-Semitic events on tri-state college campuses. Over 20 organizations and temples representing reform, conservative, and Orthodox Jews, as well as Christian Zionists, will gather for a night of conversation.

“This gathering will be different from many of the recent rallies and protests in that we will disseminate information in a variety of ways that will engage the audience, and give them the ample tools and information they need to feel comfortable to factually and safely defend their stands on the issues,” stated organizer Cindy Grosz. We will be premiering the latest video just completed by the Emmy-award-winning team working with the Christian Zionist group, Proclaiming Justice to the Nations. In addition, College Voices Matter will have their first public gathering. This group will join the various college organizations dealing with Jewish culture and social and political issues, including StandWithUs, Hillel, Students and Parents Against Campus Anti-Semitism, and college campus staff from groups like the Zionist Organization of America will speak directly with parents, grandparents, and students. One student on a NYC campus will discuss the tensions he faces routinely.

Many from the five boroughs and communities from both Nassau and Suffolk counties are already reserving seats. The last program held in Temple Hillel, focusing on the Iran Deal last July, was standing room only and received rave reviews. JCCWatch.org, EMET, American Friends for A Safe Israel, Yom Hashoah Foundation, and the Israel Advocacy Calendar groups are also participating in the event. A kosher reception and wine-tasting promoting Israeli products will be featured.
