Ninth-graders at the Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls had a wonderful morning on December 25 when they were joined by their fathers for a special breakfast-and-learning program. After posing for individual father–daughter portraits and enjoying a delicious buffet, the freshmen and their fathers were given source sheets from which to learn together. Rabbi Daniel Eisenbach, SKA’s mashgiachruchani, gave an insightful d’varTorah filled with personal anecdotes about “Taking the Next Step.” Everyone was then split into groups and played Jeopardy! in different classrooms. The fathers and their daughters all agreed it was a great way to start the day.

Special thanks go to the generous sponsors of the program, Mr. and Mrs. Avi Goldstein and family, in honor of Naomi, the entire ninth grade, and the SKA faculty; Mr. and Mrs. Ely Guttman and family; and Mr. and Mrs. Elliot Blumenthal and family, l’iluy nishmat Mirel bat Chaim Eliyahu HaLevi.
