Congregation Ohr Torah, located on Hungry Harbor Road in North Woodmere, has engaged Chazzan Robert Vegh of Lawrence to officiate Selichos and davening on the High Holy Days.

Chazzan Vegh truly inspired those who attended services led by him in the past years at some of the largest congregations in the New York area, including the White Shul in Far Rockaway, Kingsway Jewish Center and Avenue N Jewish Center in Brooklyn, and Aderet El in Manhattan. Chazzan Vegh is highly esteemed for his knowledge of traditional nusach and chazzanut and is fully at home with nigunim and congregational compositions.

The entire community is invited to join the Ohr Torah kehillah and Chazan Vegh at Selichos on Saturday night, September 20–21 at 12:45 a.m.
