a1The 11th-grade class of the Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls had a wonderful chesed opportunity to do the ultimate chesed shel emet on Thursday, October 24, when they volunteered at the Hebrew Free Burial Association, which buries Jews who have no funds. After learning the halachot of the importance of caring for Jewish burial grounds, the girls raked thousands of leaves to clean up the cemetery. They also said Tehillim for the neshamot of those who were buried there. v
