Lev Leytzan’s new professional clowns have trained over the summer to mentor the student clowns on their hospital rounds. Lev Leytzan is an organization that trains kids in grades 8–12 to become medical clowns. They go through one year of training, which includes guidance from Cirque du Soleil–trained performers, hospital infection training, and psychological training, including debriefing after rounds with the kids.
