Coins To Combat Cancer

North Shore Hebrew Academy High School students held a unique weeklong competition between the grades to raise funds to fight cancer. With creative coin collections and bracelet sales, they had fun while succeeding beyond even their own expectations. The 11th-graders were the winners, contributing over $3,000 of the $7,000 raised by the students, the total which was then matched by Mr. Stanley Silverstein, grandfather of one of the student organizers.
