Mercy Medical Center invites the community to a free lecture on hand and wrist pain on Thursday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. Fellowship-trained hand-surgery specialist Dr. Andrew Farber will discuss symptoms and available treatments for conditions such as arthritis, injuries, and over-use and repetitive motion problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
Dr. Farber, who practices at the South Island Orthopaedic Group in Cedarhurst, received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury and did his post-graduate training at the University of Chicago Medical Center and the hospitals of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.
Advance registration for the presentation is not required. It will be conducted in the employee dining room on the lower level of the medical center’s North Pavilion. Ample convenient free parking will be available.
