Gas Odor Causes Delays at Port Authority

Delays are being reported into and out of Port Authority Bus Terminal after a strong natural gas odor forced the evacuation of the building’s south wing, authorities said.

The section of the terminal where the gas odor was detected was evacuated, the Port Authority said. The rest of the building remains open.

Buses are dropping passengers off at 10th Avenue.

Commuters are advised to expect delays.

No further details were immediately available.
