HAFTR Students Mourn Sandy Hook Victims

After returning to school on Monday and learning about the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, HAFTR High School students said Tehillim for the dead, and 20 memorial candles were lit in memory of the children whose lives were taken. The principals challenged every child in the building to take on “random acts of kindness” to honor and memorialize the victims. The sports teams playing in competitions this week will show their support for the victims and their families by adding the initials S.H. on their uniforms. It is vital that students pay tribute to these innocent children and remember them in their daily prayers.
