(JNS.org) Hamas executed 18 suspected collaborators with Israel in Gaza on Friday, according to reports on social media and Hamas-affiliated news websites.
On Friday morning, pro-Hamas media reported that 11 suspected Israeli collaborators were executed at Gaza City police headquarters. After Friday midday prayers, an additional seven suspected collaborators were killed in a public execution in central Gaza.
The victims, who had their heads covered and hands tied, were shot by masked Hamas gunmen in front of a crowd of worshippers outside of a mosque, the pro-Hamas website al-Majd said. An additional photograph posted on a pro-Hamas Palestinian Facebook page showed a crowd outside the mosque awaiting the executions.
Hamas also executed three suspected Israeli collaborators on Thursday, the Palestinian Ma’an News Agency reported, citing al-Majd.
