Camp Seneca Lake has over 50 years of camping expertise catering to the Jewish community. It is now introducing a sister camp specializing in a curriculum for the performing arts. The first Jewish and kosher sleepaway program of its kind, Camp Seneca Lake for the Performing Arts will specialize in programs for drama, dance, art, photography, and music. Camp Seneca Lake for the Performing Arts fosters self-esteem in campers by activities that promote teamwork and collaboration while having fun. These young artists learn and grow throughout the seven week summer session. Each specialty subject is directed by a professional with years of hands-on experience. Recitals and performances will be performed at the Camp Seneca Lake sister camp in Honesdale, PA. Enrollment is limited to children who completed the fourth grade through those entering eleventh grade. Camp Seneca Lake for the Performing Arts provides boys and girls an enriching summer experience—all in a Jewish atmosphere—that will develop performance skills and self-confidence as well as challenge their imaginations. The highly structured seven-week program encourages every child to participate each day. Camp Seneca Lake for the Performing Arts will also include outdoor activities, field trips, and swimming. For more information, call the Seneca Lake office at 718-261-2267.
