Appearing with dancer, Dor Mamalia, Sharabi’s creation explores the meaning, place, significance of “home,” Israel’s Ma’ariv daily reported.
“We are so lucky to get all these opportunities to share our work with so many different audiences,” Sharabi wrote on his Facebook page.
“Winning with Dor, for the second time, was unbelievable and so rewarding.
“It felt like someone was tapping me on the back, saying ‘dont worry… you’re doing well and you’re with the right people …’ of course that imaginary person was smiling,” Sharabi told fans.
Sharabi takes home a 6,000 Euro prize from the highly-regarded two-day meet on June 21-22, where 20 choreographers from around the world displayed a variety of styles and schools of dance in five-to-12-minute segments.
