“Come Alive” Social Daycare Program. The Marion & Aaron Gural JCC provides a social daycare program called “Come Alive” for persons with dementia and other impairments. Mondays and Thursdays, 10:00 am–1:30 p.m. at Congregation Sons of Israel, 111 Irving Place in Woodmere. Come Alive provides an opportunity for homebound older adults to participate in social, recreational, and intellectual activities in a biweekly structured program. Kosher lunch will be provided and door-to-door handicap-accessible transportation is available on a limited basis. Your loved one can socialize in a supervised and stimulating environment. Arrangements can be made for people with long-term care through Medicaid. Transportation is available but limited. Preregistration required. Adult Ceramics Classes at Owl 57. This four-week workshop, where participants will be producing two individualized art projects, begins Tuesday, March 14, 7:30–9:00 p.m.; $125.
