Film. Aftermath, Winner of the Yad Vashem Chairman’s Award, Jerusalem Film Festival 2013. Franek and Jozek Kalina, sons of a poor farmer from a small village in central Poland, uncover a dark secret that forces them to confront the history of their family and their hometown. “Aftermath is a timely, compelling, honest and profound film. It is a dramatic, deep and intense depiction of the complex relationship of ordinary Poles with the memory of the Holocaust.
