Two weeks ago, Israel discovered the hiding place of the two Hamas terrorists who in June 2014 kidnapped and murdered three Israeli teenagers: Eyal Yifrach, 19, Gilad Shaar, 16, and Naftali Frenkel, 16. When Israel attempted to arrest them, the terrorists opened fire and eventually were killed.
Official PA TV has chosen to broadcast an interview with the mother of the murderer Al-Qawasmi, who told PA TV News at his funeral that her son was “noble, pure and modest… a hero among heroes,” and found his “Martyrdom” death an honor and proof that Allah “loved him”:
PA TV News, during its report on the funeral of Al-Qawasmi, also honored him with the lofty status of Shahid – a Martyr. The official PA news agency has already honored both murderers as Shahids, as reported by Palestinian Media Watch.

A cartoon in response to the death of the murderers of the three Israeli teens posted by the PA National Security Forces on their official Facebook page presents the murderers, and “Martyrs” in general, as having achieved the supreme goal. Entitled “The tax of the homeland,” the cartoon shows an Olympic style winners’ podium depicting the Shahid – Martyr as the ultimate winner in first place, a prisoner is honored with second place and a wounded Palestinian is seen achieving third place honors.
The PA has also called Israel’s killing of the two terrorists “a premeditated crime” and “a cold-blooded murder,” as PMW reported.
For years, the PA has presented death for Allah as an achievement, “Martyrs” have been presented as role models, and as a result, parents have expressed joy over their children’s “successes” as Martyrs.”
The PA has also presented the kidnapping of the boys as a crime fabricated by Israel as a pretext for starting the recent Gaza war.
