A Labour MP who was forced to apologize after backing calls for Israel to “relocate” to America has resigned as an aide to the party’s shadow chancellor.

Naz Shah, who made the controversial comments in 2014, will no longer carry on in her role as parliamentary private secretary (PPS) to John McDonnell.
