The annual Purim carnival at Shulamith School for Girls was bigger, brighter, and bouncier than ever before! Sponsored by the Shulamith Women’s Organization, and organized by eighth-graders under the guidance of Mrs. Rachel Steiner, director of student activities, the carnival afforded each Shulamith student the opportunity to greet Chodesh Adar with great simcha. Hashem graced us with beautiful weather this year, and a great big yard in which to enjoy a giant obstacle course and combo ride with bounce house. The eighth-graders, who were dressed as superheroes, ran booths that included the ever-popular fluff ‘n chips, pickle race, ring toss, and more. As the organizers watched each cheerful student nosh on cotton candy and popcorn, it was clear that a fun time was had by all.
