i24 News — Speaking at a special session in honor of visiting French President Francoise Hollande, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday invited Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas to address the Israeli parliament and publicly recognize Jewish links to the land of Israel. Speaking after Netanyahu, Hollande told the Israeli parliament Jerusalem must be the future capital of both the state of Israel and the state of Palestine.

“I call on him from here today: let’s break the deadlock,” Netanyahu said in a special address to the parliament, or Knesset, in honor of a visit by the French President.
