Annual Queens/5 Towns Avigdor’s Helping Hand Labor Day BBQ. Sunday night, September 1, at 7:00 p.m., at the home of Bilhah and David Moradi, 72 Muriel Avenue in Lawrence. Those who have attended this gorgeous gala event in the past know that it is an event that should not be missed. Great food, relaxing music, and amazing raffle prizes! All proceeds go to AHH, a tzedakah that is based in Kew Gardens Hills and distributes moneys to help widows and widowers during the first year after a sudden tragedy. AHH also helps fund the orphans with the expenses for their wedding all across the country. AHH is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charity operating with no office, no overhead, and no salaries.
