With state-of-the-art centers in Nassau, Brooklyn, and Queens, Premier Care is raising the bar in walk-in urgent medical care, offering superlative service for life’s mini emergencies. For patients headed to the emergency room or physician’s office with an acute illness of moderate severity, Premier Care provides an alternative to the emergency room and access to care when the patient’s doctor is unavailable.
“Our offices are staffed by American-trained, board-certified emergency-room physicians, with years of experience in both emergency medicine and urgent care. This means we are able to deal with most major medical issues,” said Dr. Daniel Frogel, medical director of the Lynbrook office and partner in Premier Care centers. “From upper-respiratory infections such as strep, flu, mono, and pneumonia, to stitches, broken bones, administering IV fluids, and everything in between, our physicians provide outstanding emergency-room treatment in a kinder, gentler setting.”
Conveniently located just minutes away from the Five Towns and West Hempstead, their brand-new spacious and beautiful state-of-the-art Lynbrook center is equipped with digital X‑ray equipment and a laboratory that can provide rapid testing for various illnesses, such as the flu, strep throat, and urinary infections and equipment needed to treat common orthopedic injuries as well as wounds requiring stitches.
Setting standards of excellence in walk-in urgent health care, Premier Care currently has eight offices open; in addition to the Lynbrook office there are centers in Bellmore, Levittown, Lindenhurst, Great Neck, Commack, and Park Slope, with three additional offices under construction and set to open in early 2013.
“We go the extra mile for every one of our patients and really extend ourselves for each of them,” explains Dr. Frogel. Born and raised in Belle Harbor, Dr. Frogel attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine after graduating from Yeshiva University. He completed residencies in both emergency medicine and internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park. He served as an attending physician in the emergency division at Long Island Jewish
Medical Center. He has been working full-time at Premier Care since 2009. Dr. Frogel resides in North Woodmere with his wife and children; he and his wife are active members of our community.
From pediatric to adult to geriatric, Premier Care’s outstanding and dedicated doctors attend to the needs of each patient. As well, Premier Care provides immunizations required for employment, school, or travel. Patients are referred back to their primary-care physicians to maintain the continuity of care. They are very much hassle-free, with short wait times; most patients are seen by the doctor within five minutes of arrival. At Premier Care, patients are treated by board-certified ER doctors exclusively—“never by nurse practitioners, PA, or other non-physician provider.”
Premier Care has teamed up with Dental Associates of Long Island to offer patients immediate dental care. Appointments are completely unnecessary. You are cordially invited to visit the new dental wing in the Lynbrook office.
