Puah And 5T Residents In For Healthy Treat, April 21

On Sunday night, April 21, at 7:45 p.m., Sara and Ian Bocko will be hosting a Puah event highlighting “The Impact of Nutrition on Building Healthy Families.”

The host committee includes Jenny Berger, Chaya Glickman, Amy Friedman, Atara Habib, Irit Kerstein, Ilana Lichter, Shira Perl, Andrea Schechter, Susie Schwartzstein, Aliza Solomon,Tzipora Wechter, and Eva Wexler.

Concerned about their family, neighbors, and friends, the committee invited Puah experts to town to disseminate vital information about the role of nutrition and healthy living on building families and bearing healthy babies.

The panel will feature Keith Berkowitz, M.D., founder and medical director of the Center for Balanced Health in NYC (Dr. Berkowitz specializes in treating metabolic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, thyroid problems, and hormone imbalances); Josh Klein, M.D., medical director, Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York—Brooklyn office; and Rabbi Gideon Weitzman, Jerusalem director Puah Institute, visiting principal associate at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Acclaimed for its expertise in helping couples who encounter fertility problems fulfill their dreams of building a family, Puah Institute also specializes in training physicians, rabbis, and the public about the importance of maintaining prenatal healthy living as a prerequisite for building healthy families. Counselors at Puah Institute embody a unique synthesis of rabbinical knowledge and specialized training in modern reproductive medicine.
