The DRS experience lasts well beyond the four years that one is in high school. Every year, DRS menahel Rabbi Yisroel Kaminetsky and associate principal Rabbi Elly Storch visit alumni studying in Israel. At DRS, roughly 95% of graduates spend at least a year learning in yeshivot in EretzYisrael following their senior year. Rabbi Kaminetsky and Rabbi Storch visit to continue the rebbe-talmid relationship. They hold one-on-one meetings with each graduate in order to document their experience, which helps them better serve the students in DRS when helping them make their yeshiva decision. It gives them tremendous nachat to see so many of their students growing through their experience in yeshiva abroad. This past Shabbat, Rabbi Kaminetsky held a reunion Shabbaton for the graduates in Ramat Bet Shemesh, with a lively tisch and seudahshlishit. On motzaeiShabbat, all DRS graduates in Israel joined together at Yeshiva Netiv Aryeh in the Old City for a reunion melaveh malkah.
