Relief for Children of Rocket Attacks

Today, Machon Maayn students organized a “fun day” at Davida’s Farm in Moshav Yishi.

Two buses filled with families from Be’er Sheva came to spend a day outdoors, rather than be cooped up in bomb shelters.  They enjoyed a petting zoo with chickens, guinea pigs, camels, and goats, as well as pony rides, art projects, and a bouncy castle.

The farm was donated for free, and the food and supplies necessary for the preparation of the day was purchased with money donated to the cause.  T-shirts were made for the Machon Maayan girls in black with yellow writing, while the children were given similar t-shirts in yellow, with black writing.

Children were heard repeatedly thanking the girls and the teachers of the school.  The day was a much needed relief for the children and their parents, and was an amazing chesed carried out by the students.
