According to Israeli security forces, Syria has transferred a cache of precision-guided, long-range missiles to terror group Hezbollah, in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, Kuwait’s Al-Jarida reported.
Al-Jarida cited a source close to Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon saying that “these rockets are made in China, have been developed in Iran and come with a remote control, which provides a range of over 1,500 km. ”
The newspaper said that “the security leaders are examining the possibility of destroying this new arsenal that is dangerous to the security of Israel, which is still in the Bekaa Valley.”
According to Al-Jarida, when IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz was speaking at Bar Ilan University recently, his reference to a possible missile attack on the Kirya base in Tel Aviv was based on knowledge of the missiles in the Bekaa Valley.
