(JTA) — Belgian police arrested an unidentified suspect in connection with the killing of four people last week at Brussels’ Jewish museum, local media reported.
No further details about the suspect were released in the report about the arrest, which was appeared Tuesday on the news site nieuws.vtm.be.
Four people died in the shooting, which witnesses was perpetrated by a single shooter armed with an automatic rifle and a pistol. He arrived at the scene in an car driven by an identified individual and flet the scene on foot.
Two of the victims were an Israeli couple in their fifties from Tel Aviv. The bodies of Emanuel and Miriam Riva arrived in Israel for burial Tuesday.
