Some 250 Palestinians clashed with IDF forces in Hebron on Friday, the Israeli army said, as Hamas called for a “Day of Rage” against Israel.

The Gaza-based terror group urged West Bank residents to take to the streets to protest Israel’s actions in Jerusalem, namely atop the compound where Aksa Mosque stands.

Protestors in Hebron threw stones, fireworks and Molotov cocktails at IDF forces, who responded with crowd dispersal means to restore the calm.

In Kalandia, a village which sits between Jerusalem and Ramallah, 80 people torched tires near a military checkpoint, prompting the army to open fire with rubber bullets, injuring a Palestinian in the legs.

Palestinian media reported several injuries in Hebron from rubber bullets and tear gas.

A-Ram, an Arab town that lies just north of the capital, saw a similar scene unfold, as residents there clashed with security forces.

Jerusalem remained largely calm, as thousands of Muslim worshipers prayed at the holy site known to Muslims as Noble Sanctuary and to Jews as the Temple Mount.
