Oh, what a night! Despite inclement weather, the 47th Annual Dinner of Yeshiva Sh’or Yoshuv was well attended and a huge success. More than 500 guests gathered at the Sands of Atlantic Beach to show gratitude to Sh’or Yoshuv, meet old and new friends, and pay tribute to three outstanding families: Rabbi and Mrs. Zev Freundlich, recipients of the Reb Shlomo Freifeld Memorial Award; Marc and Sharon Friedman, recipients of the Kesser Shem Tov Award; and Pesach and Matty Sod, the recipients of the Community Service Award. Highlights from this year’s dinner included warm words of inspiration from the rosh hayeshiva, Rabbi Naftali Jaeger, and the menahel, Rabbi Avrohom Halpern; the video award presentations to the well-deserving awardees; and an informative video about the yeshiva and all of its accomplishments.

The success of the annual dinner, and the yeshiva as a whole, is due to the unwavering support of the extended Sh’or Yoshuv community. v
