Accusations of both hate speech and censorship on University of California campuses.

University of California campuses are known to be hot spots for tension between Palestinian solidarity groups and certain Jewish organisations. This has been on the rise the past few years culminating in legal action, accusations of hate speech and what some view as limitations on freedom of speech.

According to Mondoweiss, there have been at least 25 “examples of the [University of California] administration intimidating and censoring students and faculty who speak in support of Palestinian rights” since 2009.
