University of California campuses are known to be hot spots for tension between Palestinian solidarity groups and certain Jewish organisations. According to Mondoweiss, there have been at least 25 “examples of the [University of California] administration intimidating and censoring students and faculty who speak in support of Palestinian rights” since 2009.
