His face graces many homes and his teachings inform many classes. Thousands of emissaries settle into communities around the world on the chance of impacting a few Jewish souls, fulfilling the mission of this Rebbe whom they never met. Yet Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of blessed memory, passed away 20 years ago, leaving no successor to the leadership role he assumed reluctantly in the first place.

Rabbi Chaim Miller, author of the acclaimed Kol Menachem sefarim series and other highly intellectual works, took on the enormous job of exploring the Rebbe’s life and personality. The result, Turning Judaism Outward, is being released just as we are about to mark the Rebbe’s 20th yahrzeit on the third of Tammuz.

The Jean Fischman Chabad Center of the Five Towns (74 Maple Avenue, Cedarhurst) is honored to present Rabbi Miller to speak about his work on Tuesday, June 24, at 8:15 p.m. The event is free and all are welcome. Book signing and purchase will be available.

For more information and for sponsorship options for the event, see the ad on page 12, contact Chabad of the Five Towns at 516-295-2478, or visit www.Chabad5Towns.com. v
