Tired Of Thanksgivukah? Celebrate Chabadukah!

We’ve all heard the hype about the rare phenomenon of Thanksgiving and Chanukah coinciding. Besides adding some turkey and American history lessons into their Chanukah celebrations, the core tenet of giving thanks remains constant in Jewish tradition and the much-hyped crossover doesn’t change much for most families. Yet, every year, Chabad of the Five Towns creates an incredible, one-of-a-kind Chanukah Experience in the heart of Cedarhurst which has added meaning and excitement to Chanukah for thousands of families. Now that’s worth celebrating!

Located at 88 Cedarhurst Avenue, between Central Avenue and Broadway (formerly PTI) from Thursday, November 28 through Wednesday, December 4, the experience offers face painting, Yehudah Hamaccabee in person, Chanukah crafts, a Chanukah game show, a glow in the dark room, the chance to create menorahs and dreidels with Clics and Legos, a toddler center, latke making, a clay bar, a music center, and much more. Admission for one-and-a-half-hour time slots is $10 per person, all-inclusive, or $5 per person, excluding crafts, candle making, clay bar, and face paint. $2 tickets sold separately. With the Giving Menorah standing at 6 ft. tall, children can choose their favorite mitzvah and share with others.

Exciting public menorah lightings include:
