TISHA B’AV OUTDOOR PRAYER SERVICE AT ISAIAH WALL
FOR ISRAEL AND JEWS IN DANGER WORLDWIDE
Murderous Palestinian terror attacks in Israel.  Hamas and Hezbollah stock many thousands of rockets and dig terror tunnels on Israel’s borders.  Anti-Israel resolutions spew from the UN.  Anti-semitic attacks on Jews and Jewish institutions persist in Europe and the former Soviet Union.  The BDS movement cancer spreads.  And there’s plenty of anti-semitic incidents right here in the US.
There’s so much to pray for this Tisha B’Av.
Make your Tisha B’Av meaningful.  Join the 40th annual outdoor prayer service for Israel and Jews in danger worldwide at the dramatic Isaiah Peace Wall, First Avenue & 43d Street, Manhattan, opposite the United Nations, on Tuesday, August 1st, 2 pm.
The service will be led by Rabbi Avi Weiss, and is a traditional mincha, complete with reading from a Torah scroll.  Participants are encouraged to bring their siddurim (prayerbooks) and tallis and tefilin as needed.
At the end, Rabbi Weiss will have an important announcement about the continuation of the annual service in future years.
The service is coordinated by Amcha-Coalition for Jewish Concerns, together with Americans for a Safe Israel and the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry.  For more information, contact tishahbav@aol.com or (212) 663-5784.
