This week, U.S. Representative Kathleen Rice visited Yeshiva University to meet with President Richard M. Joel and address the Introduction to American Politics course at Stern College for Women. “Congresswoman Rice has many constituents who are students, alumni and supporters of Yeshiva University and she joined us today learn more about us,” said Avi Lauer of Woodmere, New York, vice president for legal affairs and secretary and general counsel at YU. “After meeting with President Joel, she honored our students with some words of wisdom about politics and leadership and encouraged them to use their YU education to get involved and lead communities in the future.”
