What’s The World’s

Best-Kept Kosher Secret?

This past Thanksgiving, Cohen’s Kosher Deli and the WorldGate Resort merged to open a new, year-round kosher resort in Orlando, Florida. Now kosher travelers can enjoy a vacation in Orlando and also have delicious kosher dining conveniently available right at their door. This recently renovated resort boasts extra-large rooms, spacious closets, in-room refrigerators, flat-screen televisions, and much more. They offer a dedicated Shabbos elevator and Shabbos locks for all rooms. It is a truly family-friendly hotel with accommodations to meet your every need.

The WorldGate Resort features three swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, tennis courts, and a full-size basketball court, as well as an updated fitness center. Located only seven minutes from the main gate of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, you could not ask for a better location. This oasis in paradise is located near all of the major attractions and shopping centers. Guests enjoy a relaxing vacation as the staff of the WorldGate meets all of the needs of the kosher consumer.

As part of your stay, there is free transportation to all of the major theme parks in the area, including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, MGM, and Universal Studios. With a synagogue on the premises and under the supervision of Chabad of Orlando, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for your family.

Justin Cohen of Cohen’s Kosher Deli is a master chef and butcher and is in charge of all kosher dining at the WorldGate Resort. Justin grew up in Orlando and worked with his mother, a local caterer in town. He decided several years ago that the time was right to open a kosher deli in Orlando. It was an instant success and he needed to expand. Having served thousands of kosher travelers, Cohen’s Deli became a destination for anyone traveling to Orlando. With his move to the WorldGate, Justin was able to expand his offerings to the kosher market. This past January, he opened a dairy restaurant which features a breakfast, lunch, and Motzaei Shabbos menu. Meals are always prepared fresh on the premises, including pizza, pasta, and much more.

With anticipation and excitement, Justin and the WorldGate Management and staff are looking forward to Passover 2013. They have a special introductory rate of $1,995 per adult, which includes all taxes and gratuities. Don’t miss this opportunity as the hotel management has decided to cap reservations at 400 guests. Rooms are going fast. The program will be hosted by Chaim Kiss and Roz Solomon, experienced Passover tour directors. Famed Jewish Press columnist Rabbi Simcha Cohen will be giving inspiring sermons during services as well as lecturing on halachic issues during the holidays. Rabbi Cohen and Cantor Kiss will be leading the communal Seders. Private Seder rooms are available for families. Lecturers include David Schoenburg from Israel, who will speak on Jewish history as well as Jewish law. Joy Schonburg of Schonberg Galleries of New York will lecture on Judaica and will run a unique art auction featuring pieces that have not been offered in this region. Nationally known Shira Kraft will offer personal training for women, daily power walks, a personal exercise review, and lectures on various personal exercising and healthcare topics. Massage demonstrations will be part of this unique activity.

Dining at the WorldGate will be spectacular! Under the masterly direction of Justin Cohen, there will be three gourmet meals daily. An extensive wine list will be available, and resident sommelier Danny Eckstein from Herzog Wines will be available during dinner to answer any questions you may have. He will also lecture at a wine tasting about the different international wines and the flavors that they offer.

A lavish tea room with Viennese displays and poolside snacks are available on a daily basis. Theme nights include a poolside barbecue with all the country-and-western atmosphere you could ask for. The extensive entertainment schedule includes live music, comedy night, concerts, magic shows, and much more. Children will have their own entertainment provided by day camp staff. Camp WorldGate will provide a professionally supervised day camp free for all young guests. There is also a tiny tots theater showing Disney movies all day. As a special added bonus, don’t miss out on the two-day free passes to Disney World, for guests ages 3–9.
