Why Is This Passover Different From All Other Years?

This year Rabbi Perl will send you ten pieces of chametz. Chabad of Mineola is distributing free ‘Bedikas/Search for Chametz Kits’, to help the community to perform the mitzvah of searching for leaven/chametz on the night before Passover, Sunday, April 13. These Bedikas/Search Chametz Kits includes 10 (carefully wrapped) pieces of bread, a spoon, a candle, and a feather, all at no charge.

Rabbi Perl is asking everyone to e-mail in a ‘selfie’ of oneself or the family searching for the leaven. All pictures will be entered into the free Passover raffle. The winner is to receive a large (5-foot) challah bread after the holiday.

Every selfie Chametz search photo received will be entered into the free Passover raffle. All photos must be received by the midnight deadline, on Sunday, April 13.
