Yeshiva Har Torah’s Family Lag Ba’Omer Carnival

x5Little Neck, Queens, was the place to be this past Sunday for the first Yeshiva Har Torah Lag Ba’Omer Family Carnival. Over 600 members of the Yeshiva Har Torah family, including current and incoming families, staff, faculty, and their children and grandchildren, enjoyed a day of fun at the school. The carnival was a culminating event to a year of celebrations for the school’s 25th anniversary. Inflatables and carnival games filled the gym, while others did arts-and-crafts and face-painting. There was an amazing magic show at “halftime,” followed by a dunk tank. Several enthusiastic eighth-grade boys volunteered to be dunked to raise money for the YHT scholarship fund. The positive response about the day was overwhelming as the feelings of school pride and achdut permeated the building. v
