5This past Sunday was a very exciting day for the boys in Yeshivat Kol Yaakov. Their rebbe, Rabbi Yitzi Kohn, organized a special baseball game in honor of their siyum on the lamed-tet melachot of Shabbat. The boys were very excited to meet their fathers in the park for the annual siyum and play a special game of baseball, fathers versus sons. The boys won 18–4—what a surprise! Everyone enjoyed a fun-filled game and a breakfast of bagels and cream cheese in the park.

The most special part of the day was the singing of Acheinu that could be heard ringing through the park. They said a few perakim of Tehillim together for the three boys in Eretz Yisrael who are missing, and they hope in the z’chut of the Tehillim and siyum they will be found.

This was a wonderful way to end a super year of learning, achdut, and fun! v
