In addition to being amazing talmidei chachamim, Rabbi Zucker’s fifth-grade class at Yeshiva of South Shore are amazing craftsmen. This past Sunday they presented their beautiful Mishkan projects. The entire school and the boys’ parents came to see them. Some unique aspects of the keilim that the boys made included real copper sheets for the Mizbayach HaNechoshes. Betzalel Cohen, together with Shlomo Gewirtz and Nachum Aharon Shonek, made a beautiful replica of the Aron crafted by his namesake, Betzalel. It was made up of three nesting boxes and contained the Luchos, Torah, and mon. Menachem Kunin, Shmuel Siegel, and Dani Sturm crafted the Menorah with its spheres, cups, and flowers. It was remarkable how true to life these replicas are and how many hours of hard work and effort the boys put into these projects. May we all be zocheh to see these keilim in their original form in the Beis Hamikdash, bimheirah b’yameinu. v
