Brandeis Open Your Hearts campaign for IDF soldiers

On Sunday, Brandeis eighth-grade students embarked on a two-week experience to Israel where they will be visiting the country’s landmarks and strengthening their relationship to Eretz Yisrael and the State of Israel. Throughout the last month, the Brandeis School has been collecting money for the IDF soldiers so that the eighth-graders can present them with gifts on behalf of the entire school. Together, the Brandeis community raised more than $3,000 during the Open Your Hearts campaign.

Last week, as the fundraiser culminated, the kindergarten students along with Morah Yochi Eiss, Morah Sarit Nawee, and Ms. Tali Dahari, presented the tzedakah to the eighth-grade students and together everyone prayed for the safety of the brave men and women who protect Israel on a daily basis.
