Camp Shira introduced a new summer program this year that is going to deliver a unique summer experience for its campers! The fifth to seventh grade division is split into two halves: Shira Travel for first half and Shira Sensations for second half. The travel program includes a major amusement park trip and a water park trip as well as other awesome adventures like horseback riding, ropes courses, and more.
The Sensations half of the summer is a skills-based program that lets the girls hone their skills with professional lessons offsite like tennis, cooking, gymnastics, and more. For that session, professional instructors will come to the camp for dance, art, drama, and much more. There will even be an electives day where the girls pick which classes they want to take! Every day in camp will be unique and dynamic and non-stop action!
Meanwhile the younger division at Camp Shira now provides camp for girls and boys entering nursery to pre1A and girls entering first and second grade. The program includes the famous Shira Water Park and foam activity, weekly trips, daily specialties, and more! The camp hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday.
The pricing for the summer was also adjusted to feature air-conditioned busing as an add-on so parents only pay for busing if they need it. The camp is running their Loyalty Special until January 15. So act quickly to sign up for another Summer to Sing About at Camp Shira!
