The complaints we receive in our email and voicemail are few and far between, but on certain matters remain very persistent.
At least one persistent matter we hear about almost every week concerns our criticism of President Joe Biden and our clear and expressed hope for another term for former President Donald Trump.
The email messages I receive online are usually from the same few people who apparently live to shoot holes in my political theories and philosophies. They create bogus email accounts for each message so I cannot respond to them directly, or for the simple reason of obscuring their identity.

In my opinion their thought process is both backward and upside-down.
On Monday I saw an interview with California Governor Gavin Newsom, who is frequently mentioned as a possible replacement for Joe Biden during the Democratic National Convention this summer in Chicago.
Newsom is a bad governor as well as a master of the art of embellishment, which is a polite way of saying he lies. When asked by an NBC News reporter about Biden’s advanced age and poor performance, Newsom responded by saying that Biden can teach a “master class” on how to be a successful president, and his advanced age can benefit us because it has provided Biden with untold experience and wisdom.
Newsom’s skill at embroidering the truth was evident by the way he refrained from laughing at himself or even cracking a smile.
Anyway, last week I wrote that it is usually Democratic presidents who pick on Israel as they search for a foreign policy triumph to crown their presidency, usually after realizing that all their other foreign policy strategies (as well as their domestic ones), have failed.
This was true of Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and now Joe Biden, as we all know. My letter writer with the fake email address took umbrage with my position, stating that Republican presidents are just as guilty of the same Israeli foreign policy fiascos.
The elusive letter writer with the condescending attitude is not necessarily wrong, although the approach to Israel by some Republican presidents may have warranted some objections in forums such as this, their motivation was not about placing Israel in direct danger the way Obama did and the way some of the people around Biden are attempting to do.
This letter writer along with some others are more anti-Trump than they are pro-Biden, and that is usually the case with these critics. This is especially true of my friend Asher Matathias, who likes it when I mention his name, and is the only one who signs his letters that are meant to denigrate me and the 5TJT, but whose points are usually far off the mark.
But this is not about Mr. Matathias or the other anonymous letter writers.
This is about what Trump has deemed “fake news,” and the positions and attitudes that most people take only if they can hide behind a fake identity.
The Democratic Party strategy to knock Trump out of the running for another four years as president is backfiring on them and actually seems to be having the opposite effect of what the planners of these schemes intended. His most recent win in the Michigan Republican Primary Election by a huge margin over Nikki Haley is proof of that.
Meanwhile, had Trump been given a choice by Divine Providence to select his Democratic opponent in the November election, my guess is he would select Joe Biden. The president comes across these days as a buffoon. Case in point: On Monday, Biden was taped by news people enjoying an ice cream cone with comedian Seth Meyers while discussing the possibility of a ceasefire in Gaza. Biden demonstrated a total lack of connection to reality as he licked his ice cream cone, saying casually and nonchalantly that he hoped there would be a ceasefire in Gaza after the weekend, then added by Monday.
The Biden objective here is to save Hamas from total obliteration by pressuring Israel into a ceasefire deal before their military campaign wipes them out in Rafah, where their leadership is most likely bunkered underground with the remaining Israeli hostages.
On Fox News Monday night, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that when it comes to eliminating Hamas, there can be no compromise. He asked if the U.S. had the goal of completely destroying ISIS, or if they allowed 25% of them to remain so they could rebuild and live to fight another day.
Here’s another bogus goal in the process articulated by Biden and other misguided foreign policy advisors like Antony Blinken, and that is the poetic or religious idea that somehow the fighting in Gaza should end by the start of the holy month of Ramadan, which begins March 10.
One would think that devout Muslims (as the violence-prone Gazans claim to be) would have some kind of interest in not violating the holy period on their calendar by laying down their arms and ceasing from killing.
But the other day, Alex Traiman of the Jewish News Syndicate told Sid Rosenberg on WABC Radio that historically, terrorists increased and accelerated the murder of Jews during Ramadan. But that reality will not stop Biden or Blinken from believing otherwise, if for no other reason than it sounds good.
Now, back to the matter of how Republican presidents focused on Israel at the end of their tenures as opposed to Democrats. The fundamental difference is that the Republicans, whether Reagan or both Presidents Bush, were mostly going along with what they believed Israeli leadership wanted or preferred at the time. The Democrats, whether Clinton, Obama, or Biden, are trying to shove their decades-long unworkable policies down the throats of the Israeli leaders.
At the present time, you have to have an exceptional brand of mindlessness in the aftermath of the October 7 massacre and the ongoing brutal war in Gaza to be talking about a two-state solution. But Biden and Blinken are State Department puppets programmed to say these things regardless of the circumstances.
You will likely recall the discomfort displayed by the leftist Yitzchak Rabin as he shook hands with Yasser Arafat on the lawn of the White House to celebrate the advent of the Oslo Accords, which resulted in buses and restaurants being blown up by suicide bombers, murdering almost two thousand Israelis.
Rabin was going along with Shimon Peres, who was willing to shrink the Jewish state by half if it would get him a Nobel Peace Prize, which comes with a $1.8 million award for the winners.
Likewise, you may recall Obama desperately trying to force a two-state solution on Netanyahu, and he most likely is at it again to preserve his errant legacy, if for no other reason than to damage Israel and the Jews.
George W. Bush was dead set against Ariel Sharon pulling out of Gaza and Gush Katif and leaving it to terrorists to rule. That happened almost twenty years ago, but what we are witnessing today is the dividend of that sorry mistake that killed so many and destroyed many families. Bush could not order Sharon not to do it, and Sharon, then in his mid-70s, wanted a legacy identified with peace. Instead, he received the exact opposite.
As you see, there is a lot to assess here. These matters are weighty and complex, much bigger than not liking Trump’s word usage or personal life history. As of now, in all likelihood, Trump will be the Republican nominee, and according to many polls the next president. That means four more good years for America and four more years of complaints against me and the 5TJT about how we can support him.
