We are on the threshold of great times here in America. And good times are ahead for Israel and even for most of the Middle East in the short term ahead.
The American people have expressed themselves loudly and clearly. We want serious, level-headed leadership. We want peace and prosperity. And most importantly, we are tired of being lied to and misled by the Biden-Harris Administration, which will go down in history as the most disastrous, with policies that hurt the American people on every level, from record-high inflation, to the worst border crisis in American history, to the misguided promise to “end all fossil fuels and ban fracking,” to the current chaos on the global stage, all of which can be traced to policy decisions made by the outgoing administration.
The Democrats lied and mismanaged our country at every level of government, and we’re tired of it and want to move on. The Democratic Party leadership tried to deceive us to the last moment of the election campaign.
The most laughable exercise was the final night of the presidential campaign, when Kamala Harris’s campaign spent over $20 million trying to entertain voters with the idea that she knows all the A-listers, to the point where we would be so overwhelmingly impressed that we would be persuaded to vote for her.
Did they actually believe that if we saw Kamala with George Clooney or Oprah Winfrey that this would sway us to vote for her? Why did Winfrey say on that last night that if Trump wins, it might be the last time we have an election in this country? Who told her to say that and what did they believe they were accomplishing?
Now, in the aftermath of the election I hope they realize that while a great deal of Americans (about 65%) are distracted because they are living paycheck to paycheck, they may be struggling, but are not as dumb as Democratic leadership believed.
Now Trump is in the midst of selecting his cabinet, which entails the heads of agencies with budgets valued at hundreds of billions of dollars. At the same time, Trump is saddled by a budget deficit surpassing $35 trillion with interest payments on the deficit already in the $1 trillion range.
It costs an unfathomable amount of money to run this country. But more out of control than the amounts the government spends is how and where that money is spent. To understand in simple, fiscal terms, the U.S. generates income through taxes and trade of roughly $4 trillion annually. At the same time, we have no hesitancy in spending more than $6 trillion annually.
So, there are two things going on today. Once Donald Trump is sworn in on January 20th, it will not take too long to notice some discernible, positive changes.
Among the several discernible changes that will be seen immediately is the Trump impact on the ongoing wars in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the war between Russia and Ukraine.
There is a reason why after more than two years of restraining Ukraine from using American-made long range ballistic missiles, the Biden Administration has now removed those restraints. The idea is, of course, to inflict as much damage on Russia and Putin that the U.S. and Ukraine can possibly do with an eye towards creating an even more impossible environment to stop the war.
The U.S. missiles now being fired from Ukraine into Russia will no doubt kill Russian women and children, but they are not in Gaza, so the humanitarian nature of this involvement is not a high priority in Washington or at the U.N.
I’ve heard people describe their feelings since Election Day as being euphoric, with one describing it like “being a kid in a candy store with all the good stuff being absolutely free.”
Additionally, as Trump has alluded to in the past about the Divine Intervention that spared him from two assassination attempts, the appointment of Mike Huckabee by Mr. Trump as U.S. Ambassador to Israel is very much in line with that narrative that a Higher Power is at play here during this second Trump term.
Now, even prior to his approval to fill that post, Huckabee has stated what other ambassadors in the same position have been afraid to say all these years, and that is that his position moving forward is that he is against the creation of an independent Palestinian country and furthermore, has cast skepticism on the existence of a Palestinian people. The so-called West Bank should be referred to as Judea and Samaria and dividing Jerusalem is absolutely and completely off the table.
We can rest assured that if Donald Trump asked Mike Huckabee to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Israel and these are Huckabee’s positions, they are Trump’s positions too. And that is why we are at an important crossroads in the history of the Middle East as well as the history of the world.
As far as Trump’s other picks to serve his cabinet, of course the Democrats are going to challenge and vilify whoever he selects for these roles. You can additionally rest assured that if the Democrats were able to wrest control of the House, they would already be putting up articles of impeachment against the President-Elect.
If anything was made abundantly clear about the November 5th election, it’s that the American people were not fooled by what the Democrats attempted to pull off during the last four years.
The interesting thing about the tentacles and the reach of the Democratic Party is that now that they are recovering from the shock of the electoral beating administered by Donald Trump, that will not stop them from resorting to their old, unworkable, corrupt ways. Even now, two weeks later, they are still trying to finagle a sneaky rip-off of the Senate campaign in Pennsylvania. The effort to steal the election involved counting votes that were cast illegally. That didn’t matter until the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that those votes should not be counted and Governor Josh Shapiro added his voice to that ruling, probably somewhat embarrassed by what his election boards tried to pull off.
As of today, the Republicans control 218 House seats, which means they control the chamber. More than two weeks after the election, there are still five seats on which a winner has not been declared. As of now, it looks like the Republicans will win 3 of those 5 races, which will give the Republican a 221 to 214 majority in the House of Representatives. That translates to a tight but manageable majority.
All in all, the results of the election are a tribute to Donald Trump and his vision for the future of our country. It will be an effort to tackle the load the Biden Administration saddled our country with. The overarching question will be, to what extent was all this mismanagement intentional, or was it plain incompetence? There is no question that it was a combination of the two. The only remaining question is which one was greater?
