Now It’s Epstein

The very wealthy and notorious debauchery expert, Jeffrey Epstein, died in prison a few years ago in New York. And while the circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious, the FBI has now conclusively determined that it was a suicide since he faced the possibility of a 20-year sentence for his well-documented abuses.
Epstein’s family was Jewish, but I suppose that is about the extent of our interest in him. But there’s more. Now, it seems that just as the Trump administration was getting ready to release all the previously classified documents related to Mr. Epstein, the process has come to a halt.
All of a sudden, the FBI and the Department of Justice are saying that there really are no so-called Epstein files. To state what is going on here as delicately as possible it seems there is no “client list” of those who were frequent or occasional visitors aboard Epstein’s private jet, which was used in some illegal activity involving minors.
The details of what is alleged to have occurred are not important as far as this essay is concerned. What is important are the allegations made by quasi former journalists like Tucker Carlson, who insist that the Trump administration is protecting the Epstein information because, according to Tucker, Epstein was an “agent” of the Mossad, which is the Israeli equivalent of the CIA.
What Carlson is alleging is that Epstein and his associates were engaged in illegal activities that they were able to cover up due to their association with the Israeli government, even going so far as to suggest that Epstein was running a “blackmail operation” on behalf of a foreign intelligence agency.
Carlson’s libelous assertion against Israel and the Jewish people is that Epstein and his cohorts were able to commit their offenses because Epstein was a Jew and was actively engaged in “intelligence-gathering” and blackmail material on Israel’s enemies.
Carlson has always had an issue with Israel. Even during his tenure with Fox News, Jews and Israel were rarely a focus of his nightly program. But now that he is on his own and produces a fairly popular social media program and podcast that is privately sponsored by Middle Eastern businesspeople critical of Israel, Carlson is having his way with the subject.
One of his frequent guests on Fox News was Candace Owens, who has also turned out to be one of the worst Jew-haters and critics of Israel anywhere in the media. Along with the British host Piers Morgan, the trio make a hard case to believe that the Jews control the media in the U.S.
If you watch or listen to any news programs, then you must have heard the name Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein died in 2019, so whatever he was doing is not being done anymore. Yet, despite the violent war between Russia and Ukraine where 5,000 people are being killed weekly, the ongoing conflagration in Gaza, and the recent violent face-off between Syrian Islamists and the Syrian Druze population, one of the top stories every hour is the Epstein case.
Epstein owned an island in the Caribbean where he is alleged to have entertained a coterie of important and wealthy people in a manner that suggests there was something seriously wrong with this man.
The issue being bandied about today is whether Donald Trump was a guest on his island and if so, what the circumstances were. When Joe Biden was president and it was widely known that one of the most frequent guests to Epstein’s private island was former President Bill Clinton, the Democrats blocked any release of any information regarding Mr. Epstein.
Now that Trump is in the White House and rumors have been circulated about what type of connection there was between Epstein and Trump, the Democrats are fighting for the release of the information. This is typical of the nincompoop type behavior of today’s Democrats. Indeed, Trump has asked the Democrats why—when they controlled the Senate and the White House for four years—they did not release the Epstein files.
An even greater story that has broken since I began writing this essay is the Barack Obama-Hillary Clinton misinformation and widespread fraud campaign that sought to undermine the presidency of Donald Trump after he defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. It’s early in the process, though many of these alleged events occurred almost a decade ago, but Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, has said last weekend that evidence exists that could lead to the Department of Justice prosecuting both Obama and Clinton along with others in the relatively near future.
There’s no question that this story is far more important than any part of the Epstein story, except for the part that alleges that Epstein spied for Israel. Talk about distracting and diverting the subject to get people thinking about something else other than what may be the greatest scandal in American history. It was this time of year back in 1973 when the Senate Watergate hearings were taking place. That summer I was working and was barely 20 years old, but there were times during the afternoon when I had the opportunity to listen in on the hearings, which were broadcast live to the nation.
Did I know exactly what was taking place? As I think back, possibly barely. I knew Republican party operatives had broken into the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) headquarters at the Watergate Complex in Washington, D.C., hence the name of the scandal. By the standard of today’s current scandals, Watergate does not seem like that much of a problem that should have forced a president to resign from office. But the real problem back then was not the break in, which of course was a crime in and of itself, but rather the lying, of which there is an abundance of today.
In this current scandal involving Obama, Clinton, James Clapper, John Brennan, and FBI Director James Comey, there seems to be enough perjury so that everyone involved can have double and triple helpings.
That might explain why the complicit legacy media is accelerating the Epstein story, though each of the participants may have different motives. The Democrat leadership in Congress wants to save themselves because many knew what was going on and were indeed involved.
As far as people like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are concerned, their motivation is to create a schism between the U.S. and Israel. How much will the American people take if this guy with the obviously Jewish-sounding name keeps appearing in the headlines, while the stories about him keep increasing in terms of their salaciousness, which manages to always attract attention?
The fact that Obama and Clinton created a fictional tale that Putin helped Trump get elected in 2016 as a way to hamstring his administration should win out in terms of what the Americans care about far more than this Epstein craziness.
Last week’s Epstein story was that Mr. Trump had written a greeting to Epstein on a card marking the man’s 50th birthday in 2003. Trump said that his involvement in that matter was false and he warned Rupert Murdoch and The Wall Street Journal that he would sue them the way he sued ABC and CBS earlier this year.
The President won a $16 million award from ABC to settle the defamation case, and it has just been reported that the president expects to receive a total of $36 million as a result of his lawsuit regarding the controversial “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris for the way they allowed her to redo an answer to a reporter’s question about Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S.-Israel relations.
It’s difficult to say which story is going to win out. For now, I think the investigations into Obama, Clinton, Comey, and company will be the gift that keeps on giving.
As far as Epstein is concerned, wasn’t that once a popular deli and Chinese restaurant on the Lower East Side? No—that was Bernstein’s. What? Bernstein worked for the Mossad? Was it spying or catering? n
