The Bridge Community Assembles To Advocate For Hostage Freedom

On Sunday, September 15, The Bridge hosted a public assembly, uniting community members in a resolute call for the immediate release of hostages. The event brought together a diverse group of voices from various faiths, traditions, and backgrounds, all united in their demand for justice.

Among the distinguished guests were esteemed religious leaders who addressed the gathering with heartfelt urgency. Rabbi Mendy Mirocznik delivered a powerful and impassioned mes- sage, stating, “Enough is enough-free the hostages now!”

Pastor James Duncan and Pastor Math Pierre addressed the audience, lending their support and reinforcing the collective call for action. The occasion was further honored by the presence of Bill Tingling, who introduced several elderly Holocaust survivors. These survivors participated in a solemn candle-lighting ceremony, symbolizing remembrance and hope.

The event was enriched by musical performances from Dr. Sima Karetnaya, Shlomie Bernstein, and Malki Bernstein, who performed the national anthems of the United States and Israel. Their contributions underscored the unity and solidarity of the community.
