A Love For Lawrence

On Tuesday, June 17, the Village of Lawrence will hold its annual election for Trustee. Things have quieted down quite a bit since last year’s contentious election and the incumbent candidates, Deputy Mayor Tammy Roz and Trustee Aaron Parnes, are running unopposed. The lack of any opponents may be seen as a stamp of approval from Lawrence residents, for the success of the village regarding budgeting, beautification, response to residents’ concerns, etc.
Deputy Mayor Tammy Roz serves as the board’s liaison to the parks and recreation within the village, including the Lawrence Yacht & Country Club where she oversaw renovations at the country club.
Trustee Aaron Parnes has also played an instrumental role in the Village’s success in his former role in the parks commission as well as in village planning.
Lawrence residents are urged to come on June 17 to the Lawrence Yacht & Country Club, 101 Causeway between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. to take a few minutes to say thank you to our dedicated leaders. n
