Global Business Leaders Visit Magen David Adom’s National Headquarters to Explore World-Leading Emergency Response Technology

More than 30 leaders and members of Israel’s bi-national chambers of commerce, along with representatives from Israel’s Ministry of Innovation and Ministry of Economy, recently visited Magen David Adom’s (MDA) National Headquarters in Ramla to gain firsthand insight into the organization’s cutting-edge emergency response technologies and lifesaving operations.

The delegation, representing Poland, China, France, Malta, Hungary, Romania, Latin America, Sweden, Cyprus, Türkiye, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Australia, Canada, Greece, and several African nations, toured MDA’s National 101 Emergency Dispatch Center, one of the world’s most advanced emergency command and control centers.

Developed in collaboration with MDA paramedics and emergency dispatchers, the system integrates real-time location tracking, advanced data analytics, and decision-support technology, enabling dispatchers to manage thousands of emergencies simultaneously while deploying the closest and most appropriate lifesaving resources within seconds.

Visitors also received an overview of MDA’s nationwide emergency response network, which includes thousands of ambulances and Mobile Intensive Care Units, hundreds of emergency motorcycles and rapid response vehicles, tens of thousands of volunteers stationed across Israel, a state-of-the-art medical simulation center, and MDA’s National Blood Services, which ensure a continuous blood supply for Israel’s healthcare system during both routine operations and national emergencies. Together, these capabilities enable MDA to respond rapidly and effectively to everything from everyday medical emergencies to mass casualty incidents and wartime operations.

“The visit highlighted MDA’s operational and technological capabilities in saving lives, capabilities that have proven themselves more than ever since the October 7 attacks and throughout the ongoing security challenges Israel has faced,” said Orly Ariel, CEO of Israel Friends of Magen David Adom. ‘We hope the representatives of the bi-national chambers of commerce will become ambassadors for MDA in their respective countries and help promote the innovative systems and technologies we have developed to strengthen emergency medical response worldwide.”

“The center we visited is a remarkable example of how vision, professionalism, and advanced technology come together to save lives,” said Yoram Eldar, CEO of the Israeli Federation of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce & Industry. “Beyond providing emergency medical care, MDA plays a critical role in strengthening Israel’s resilience. We leave inspired by what we have seen and committed to serving as ambassadors for MDA while fostering international partnerships that will further support its lifesaving mission.”

“We were honored to welcome the leaders and members of the bi-national chambers of commerce to MDA’s National Headquarters,” said Magen David Adom Director-General Eli Bin. “Magen David Adom stands at the forefront of lifesaving innovation and Israel’s national resilience. The technologies we have developed enable us to provide the fastest and most effective emergency medical response possible in both routine and crisis situations. Sharing our knowledge, experience, and technological expertise with our international partners is an important part of our mission, and we are grateful for their commitment to promoting both MDA and Israeli innovation around the world.”

The visit was organized in cooperation with the Israeli Federation of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce & Industry as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international collaboration and showcase Israeli innovation in emergency medicine and disaster response.
