Laniado Hospital Receives the Highest Patient Experience Score in Israel

A new report from Israel’s Ministry of Health reveals that Laniado Hospital – Sanz Medical Center has received an overall score of 88%, the highest in Israel, for patient experience. As a voluntary, not-for-profit institution, every patient at Laniado receives the most advanced treatments available, regardless of age or ability to pay. It pairs that medical excellence with the compassion that the Sanz-Klausenburger Rebbe, zt’l, saw as central to patient recovery.

This approach reflects the Torah-based mission that continues to guide every aspect of care at Laniado. The survey, conducted between November 2024 and March 2025, examined a wide range of service-related parameters among patients and their families. These included their environment, access to information, staff attitude, and the discharge process. Compared with a previous survey from 2021, which scored 82%, the hospital has shown remarkable improvement.

Mrs. Noa Lamel, RN, Director of the Service and Patient Experience Unit, stated: “These results are the outcome of persistent and dedicated work across many departments. Thanks to the close collaboration of our staff across all sectors, we reached this impressive outcome. It is important to note that this survey took place during an exceptionally challenging time, with many team members serving in the reserves and many women remaining at home alone with young children. Despite the difficulties, our teams maintained the highest standards of service, and the results speak for themselves.”
