EL AL provides an update regarding next week’s flight cancellations
EL AL announces that, due to the restrictions on operations at Ben Gurion Airport and in accordance with the guidelines of the Home Front Command, flights scheduled to operate between March 21 and March 27 to the destinations listed below are canceled.
Tbilisi, Budapest, Zurich, Barcelona, Belgrade, Berlin, Boston, Batumi, Fort Lauderdale, Frankfurt, Heraklion, Krakow, Larnaca, London Luton, Lyon, Marseille, Bucharest, Paphos, Prague, Chisinau, Thessaloniki, Sofia, Salzburg, Podgorica, Tirana, Tivat, Venice, Vienna.
Additional updates regarding destinations not listed in this announcement will be provided based on developments and the instructions of the official authorities.
At this stage, due to current restrictions, EL AL is unable to offer alternative flights for customers whose flights have been canceled. The airline is offering a full refund or a credit voucher for future EL AL travel.
Regarding the U.S. canceled gateways, EL AL will make every effort to rebook customers whose original destination or gateway in the United States was canceled onto an alternative active destination in the United States, subject to availability.
EL AL continues to operate under strict limitations, with passenger safety and security as its highest priority.
