Shloime And Libby Dachs Receive “Rabbeinu Moshe Feinstein Award,” At 119th Dinner For MTJ

Mesivta Tifereth Jerusalem (MTJ)-Yeshiva of Staten Island bestowed the “Rabbeinu Moshe Feinstein Award,” on Shloime and Libby Dachs at the 119th Anniversary Dinner, at the Palace, in Brooklyn, on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Shloime Dachs was feted for his Herculean efforts in bringing to fruition, after six years, the completion of a Sefer Torah—initiated, by Rav Dovid Feinstein, zt’l, before his own passing—in memory of Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz, z’l, Chairman of the MTJ Board of Directors, for his unsurpassed spreading of Torah, via ArtScroll, Mesorah Publications. Rav Dovid labeled ArtScroll “the greatest proliferator of Torah across the globe, in decades, in a generation!”

Dr. Brody’s maternal uncle, Rabbi Abraham I. Brown, z’l, was in the first semicha class of Reb Moshe. Dr. Brody and his wife Drora hosted two receptions for Rav Reuven and MTJ, at their Great Neck home, as part of the annual Great Neck Friends of MTJ Reception.
